A quick unix gaming update: We’re in great shape despite market conditions
For those worried about how recent market conditions have affected us; don’t. We’re still in great shape and on track!
First: a quick note about our new blog. We wanted to ensure we had a medium–no pun intended–that helped us better curate the stories we wanted to tell, especially in the build up to 2023. That brings us to the main topic of this inaugural blog post.
For those worried about how recent market conditions have affected us; don’t. We’re still in great shape and on track!
As with any industry, keeping up to date with consumer trends and market movements is essential for companies, not just to stay relevant but to achieve success in the long run. That’s why we made the decision to shift from P2E guild to a fully-fledged web3 ecosystem.
We initially announced the move in September, ‘Web3 gaming is evolving & so is unix gaming’, and we’ve been diligently building since. So, what progress can we report on since that first announcement?
OWNED pre-registration launches in December
We’re excited to announce that pre-registration for our web3 gaming platform OWNED will be live in December. Not only that but developers and publishers will be able to pre-register to have their games listed on the platform as well.
For those who don’t know, OWNED is our vision for what a web3 gaming platform should be. It’s a gaming-first web3 platform, marketplace for digital collectibles, and the ultimate gamer acquisition tool for developers and publishers looking to grow their player base.
We’re also really happy with the progress of our web3 SDK, which has left internal testing and is actively being used by several developers.
You can read more about OWNED and the SDK in our original announcement, but be sure to keep a close eye out for more on what to expect Unix Gaming in the very near future.
